Four most memorable songs of 2019-2020

In this list, I will cover some of the most memorable songs that i have come across since the beginning of the year 2019 to date. Please note that this is a personal opinion and does not in any way state that other songs are not good. I have tried to cut across genres of music including rock, pop, hiphop and rnb.

1. Kygo ft Selena Gomez- It a'int me

Most memorable songs of 2019

This is a song by DJ Kygo who hails from Norway and American singer Selena Gomez. It was released on 16 February 2017 and has been a major hit upto now. Written by Kygo, Gomez, Ali Tamposi, Andrew Watt and Brian Lee, it comprises an acoustic guitar line, and a build-drop arrangement in its chorus featuring pulsing piano notes and pan flute melodies.

2. Halsey- Without me

 A song by Halsey an American, released on October 4, 2018. She wrote the song with Edei, Brittany Amaradio, Nick Kobe,among others. Production was handled by Bell and Dylan Bauld. The song has a soft mellow and its mostly rnb.

3. Khalid, Normani- Love lies

 "Love Lies" is recorded by American singers Khalid and Normani. It was written by Khalid and Normani amongst others. The song was released through RCA Records on February 14, 2018, as the second single a film's soundtrack. This hit is Normani's first since Fifth harmony. The song peaked at number nine on the US Billboard Hot 100.

4. Maroon 5- Girls like you

Most memorable songs of 2019
 Written by lead singer Adam Levine, Starrah, Gian Stone, Cirkut, and Jason Evigan, with the latter two serving as producers, this song is a major hit. A second version featuring and co-written by American rapper Cardi B, was released on May 30, 2018, as the album's fifth and final single. The single version was included on the re-issue edition of the album and has since reached over a billion views on YouTube.
